At the public bath, we aimed to capture the traditional thatched-roof house’s original character, which used to be a familiar sight in Takayanagi.
The complex roofing structure is repurposed for functional needs, evolving the aesthetic of wooden frameworks that draws most people in to their charms, showcasing its durability and resistance to extreme weather conditions.
