General Information

When can I check in?

Check-in is after 3 pm. If you arrive early, we can hold your bags while you explore the facility, or take a stroll around nearby attractions until your room is available.

When do I check out?

Check out is at 10 am.

Can I send packages to the hotel before arrival?

Please contact us all information of the name(s) of the guest(s), the dates and shipping details before your arrival.

Do you have WiFi?

Yes, there is free WiFi in all public areas and in guest rooms.

Can I bring my pet?

We’re sorry, please note that pets are not allowed to enter the building.

Can I smoke?

Our facilities are non-smoking. There is a smoking area on the ground floor.

Do you accept credit cards?

We accept cash and all major credit cards as payment. (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, JCB, Diners, China, UnionPay). If you are using another credit card, please ask us about it.

Consumption tax

Room rates and service charges are subject to a 10% consumption tax. Other taxes, such as bath tax and accommodation tax, are not subject to consumption tax.
Bathing tax of JPY 150 yen per person, will be charged when you check in.

Where do I park my car?

There is a parking lot available on the grounds, if you’re driving to the facility, let us know and we’ll get you to the right place.

Are there convenience stores nearby?

We apologize that there are is no convenience store nearby, but you can buy foods, drinks or some health and hygiene products at our shop inside the facility.
Also, don’t miss our handmade delicacies and local souvenirs!

Your Stay

Can my children stay with me?

We are happy to accommodate children. We also offer rental cottages which is ideal for families with children.

What amenities are in the rooms?

All rooms are equipped with bath products, hairdryer, adult size yukata, towels and toiletries based on the number of registered occupants.

Do you have rooms with bathtub available?

Our rooms are equipped only with toilet and washroom. Bathing area is available at Rakuju no Yu, where you can also enjoy the natural hot spring. We ask for your kind understanding.

Does my room have a safe deposit box?

Please use an in-room safe deposit box to store your valuables.

Are extra beds available?

We do not provide extra beds. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Farm House

Facilities in cottages?

Please bring your own towels, toothbrush, sleepwears, foods or seasonings for self-catering.

Do I have to clean the cottage?

We kindly ask you do recycling. Please separate your rubbish into burnable garbages, cans, bottles and other wastes and take them to the inside of cottage front door when you leave. Trash bags are provided.

Can I use public bath?

Public bath and sauna are available with additional charge, but you can use them as many times as you like during your stay. Please buy the ticket at front desk.

Dining

I want to know about meals.

We offer traditional Japanese cuisine (Kaiseki) for dinner and all meals featuring the lineup of regional specialties.

Children’s meals

We prepare children’s Kaiseki and lunch.

Can the restaurants provide meals for those with food allergies or preferences?

It depends on the content, but we can generally accommodate allergies. Please contact us in advance.

Can I request for In-room dining?

We do not service meals in your room. Please enjoy dining at the on-site restaurant.

Hot Spring

Is the public bath open 24 hours a day?

Please note that opening hours and entry fees of Rakuju no Yu vary between your stay plans. You can get details here.

Is any private onsen room available?

We do not have a private bath in the facility.

What are available for public bath amenities?

Bath goods are prepare, but please bring towels from your room.
